About
Hi, I'm Emma.
I am a Personal Trainer specialising in pre- and postnatal fitness, currently coaching at Innovate Fitness, a women's-only gym just outside Harrogate.
I'm passionate about using exercise to help people feel their best — physically, mentally, and in everyday life.

My story.
My journey to becoming a Personal Trainer started in lockdown and progressed into specialising in pre/postnatal fitness after giving birth to my son (who is now 19 months!!)
During lockdown I really got into fitness. At the time I was working as a teaching assistant, which I enjoyed, but I realised I felt way more excited about workouts than times tables and spellings — so I decided to go after a career I actually loved.
After a career break in Thailand, I came home, retrained as a fitness coach, and haven't looked back since.
Best decision I ever made.
Fitness became even more important to me during pregnancy — I was still in the gym right up until my due date, and I genuinely believe it helped me recover so much quicker.
Then motherhood arrived (along with the need for some serious strength), and once again, fitness was a lifesaver.
After seeing how much exercise helped me throughout pregnancy and in my postnatal recovery, I wanted to create a space where mums can focus on themselves, rebuild their strength and confidence, improve their wellbeing, and meet other like-minded mums—all with their little one by their side.
